Marketing Specialist – DOMS

Our client in the energy industry are currently seeking the skills of a Marketing Specialist to be based in Rosebank, Gauteng

The group has grown faster than its marketing has. We are appointing a single, capable marketer to close that gap. Someone who can own the whole stack rather than a slice of it. You will write, design, build, publish, measure and report. You will not have a
team to hand work to and you will not be waiting on an agency to move. What you will have is direct access to leadership, decisions made quickly, and no permission needed to try something

Qualifications

Marketing related qualification

Criteria

3–5 years in B2B marketing — industrial, technical, energy, engineering, capital equipment or professional services.
AI first way of working
Genuinely full‑stack: you write it, design it, build it, publish it and measure it yourself.
Design competence in Canva and/or Figma, ideally Adobe Creative Suite. You can produce a deck a board will respect.
Web fluency — comfortable in a CMS or page builder (WordPress, Webflow or similar) with enough HTML and CSS to be dangerous.
Measurement literacy — GA4, Search Console, LinkedIn and Meta ad managers, and reporting in Looker Studio or equivalent.
Excellent written English. Clear, commercial, unfussy.
Self‑directed. You will set the plan and work it without being managed.
Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and a valid passport — occasional regional travel.
Exposure to energy, renewables, mining, construction or hospitality.
Marketing experience across African markets beyond South Africa.
Video and motion basics — shoot, cut, caption, publish.
Time in a private‑equity‑backed or high‑growth business.
