Main job function
1. Programme Delivery & Governance
• Develop and manage the integrated project plan, milestones, dependencies, decision log, and critical path.
• Coordinate project governance, status reporting, risk tracking, issue resolution, and escalation to the Steering Committee.
• Ensure delivery remains aligned to approved scope, timelines, budget, quality standards, and internal governance requirements.
2. Workplace Refurbishment & Construction Coordination
• Oversee site establishment, phased construction activities, workspace redesign, furniture installation, lighting improvements, and handover readiness.
• Coordinate delivery of collaboration zones, townhall space, meeting rooms, confidential zones, storage areas, and leadership spaces.
• Minimise disruption to employees by coordinating construction sequencing, temporary workspace requirements, and site access protocols.
3. Facilities, HVAC & Building Services
• Manage facilities-related workstreams, including HVAC assessment, infrastructure upgrades, contractor coordination, and readiness checks.
• Work with engineering teams, V&A Waterfront, facilities partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve building services risks.
• Ensure all workplace and facilities improvements meet operational, safety, and employee experience requirements.
4. Security, Technology & Shared Occupancy
• Coordinate access control, CCTV, visitor management, security protocols, and shared occupancy arrangements with CDH, Bidvest, V&A Waterfront, and company teams.
• Oversee technology requirements, including AV for the townhall space, meeting room enablement, IT readiness, and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure clear ways of work are established for shared building spaces, emergency access, reception, visitor flows, and security responsibilities.
5. Budget, Procurement & Supplier Management
• Monitor project spend against the approved capex and opex budgets, including forecasting, cost tracking, and variance reporting.
• Support procurement, supplier engagement, proposal refinement, commercial negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance management.
• Identify cost, schedule, quality, and scope risks early and recommend practical mitigation options.
6. Change Management & Communications
• Partner with HR and Corporate Communications to support a narrative-led change approach and employee engagement plan.
• Coordinate move logistics, FAQs, leadership briefings, employee updates, packing guidance, and post-move support.
• Support adoption of the future workspace and new Ways of Working, ensuring leaders and employees are clear on rationale, timelines, and expectations.
Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Business, or a related field
Criteria
• Minimum 5–7 years project management experience, preferably in workplace refurbishment, office fit-out, property transformation, facilities, or corporate relocation projects.
• Proven experience managing multi-workstream programmes with construction, facilities, IT, security, procurement, and change management dependencies.
• Strong supplier management, commercial awareness, budget control, and executive reporting capability.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in multinational or complex stakeholder environments will be advantageous.
