Main job function
An opportunity for an exceptional Sales Manager to join this successful company, a market-leader in the cladding industry whose exquisite range of products can be found in kitchens, bathrooms, walls and floors of homes and blue-chip commercial properties nationwide. The Sales Manager will lead and manage sales growth in the commercial channels, drive regional profitability and revenue targets by creating and driving a culture of continuous improvement, whilst fostering a motivated and high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement sales strategy aligned with company objectives;
- Continuous pipeline development and acquisition of new customers;
- Consistently grow sales across segments, regions and categories;
- Maximise margin and profitability ;
- Analyse sales data, provide accurate sales forecasting and provide meaningful management information for the region;
- Regularly visit and accompany sales individuals on customer/prospect sales calls;
- Manage performance of all sales staff including call cycles and customer conversion rates;
- Set annual sales targets for sales individuals and manage non-performance within team;
- Create a culture of collaboration across departments
- Ensure that CRM information is updated and proactively manage action items;
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Qualification in Sales and Marketing or business-related equivalent
- At least 3 years’ experience in managing sales staff
- Prior experience and knowledge of tiles, alternative flooring, bathroom and kitchen products
- Must be able to travel regularly.
