L3 Support Engineer – DOL3SUPPORT

Our client in the IT managed services industry are currently seeking the skills of a L3 Support Engineer to be based in either Gauteng or Cape Town offices

Qualifications 

  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: 365 Administrator (MS-102)
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
  • Backup certification or demonstrable experience (e.g. Veeam, Commvault, Datto)
  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator (MS-600)
  • Mimecast certification or experience

 Criteria 

  • Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, ideally within a managed services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues
  • Experience providing technical support and delivering excellent customer service
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure), Active Directory, and network administration
  • Track record of successfully managing escalated incidents and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in high-pressure environments.

Skills

  • Expert troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of networking, cloud, and infrastructure technologies
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, and related platforms
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and backup solutions
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and train others
  • Strong organisational, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
