Our client in the IT managed services industry are currently seeking the skills of a L3 Support Engineer to be based in either Gauteng or Cape Town offices

Qualifications
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: 365 Administrator (MS-102)
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
- Backup certification or demonstrable experience (e.g. Veeam, Commvault, Datto)
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator (MS-600)
- Mimecast certification or experience
Criteria
- Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, ideally within a managed services environment
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues
- Experience providing technical support and delivering excellent customer service
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure), Active Directory, and network administration
- Track record of successfully managing escalated incidents and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in high-pressure environments.
Skills
- Expert troubleshooting and analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of networking, cloud, and infrastructure technologies
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, and related platforms
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and backup solutions
- Ability to lead, mentor, and train others
- Strong organisational, documentation, and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
