Quality Assurance Manager – SSQAM

Main job function 

Our client in the mining drilling sector requires a Quality Assurance Manager.

 

Receive all relevant information with regards to instruction from the general manager to identify problem areas and possible corrective actions that are required.

Address quality problems in respect of product or service and implement procedures or corrective actions.

Conduct quality investigations and warranty claim investigations and report on findings.  Issue corrective actions with regards matters and report the findings to the Managing Director.  Liaise with the Metallurgical Laboratory and expedite reports.

 

Quality Assurance 

Maintain ISO 9001 – 2008 and implement ISO 9001-2015 until completion.

Maintaining ISO 0991-2008 to standards required for annual audits by an accredited authority

Implement monito and maintain all procedures not required by ISO 9001 but that are essential to the company’s operations.

Review and maintain work instructions.

Conduct internal audits and external quality audits on suppliers.

 

Production

Implement and effective system to monitor output on all machines to ensure optimum efficiencies during day shift and overtime and night shift.

Report in efficiencies and the reasons thereof.

Implement process management procedures to ensure optimum efficiency and minimum wastage.

 

 

Qualification 

Matric and related qualification.

 

 Experience

Minimum 3 years relevant experience
