Our client in the automotive industry based in eManzimtoti, KZN are currently seeking the skills of a Senior Sales Specialist
Main job function
- Understand customer requests and respond appropriately in collaboration with relevant internal departments.
- Appropriate output
- Lead communication with customers and cooperation and activities with related departments within the company.
- Regarding sales prices, cooperate with cost planning to create quotation details, reports, and approval documents.
- Compare and analyze sales prices of import and export of automotive components
- Creating an action plan for issues pointed out by customers as being overpriced
- Communication and cooperation with sales staff
- Market research in South Africa and planning of future sales strategies
Qualifications
Relevant NQF6 tertiary qualification in Sales/Purchasing
Criteria
- 3-5 years of experience in the automotive component manufacturing industry
- 3-5 years’ experience in Sales/Purchasing or related work to automotive Purchasing
- Experience in creating reports and approval documents
- Basic knowledge about selling prices
- Basic knowledge of how to read drawings and parts lists
- Basic knowledge of the roles of departments involved in manufacturing and quality in the automotive industry
- Must be articulate – good communication skills, both written & verbal
- Planning, organizing, pay attention to detail and Analytical ability.
- Must be a self-starter, quick decision-making, and knowledgeable on learning talent development.
- Diligent and ambitious
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point (Utilizing functional formulas, creating graphs, etc.)
