Main job function
- New Business Development: Identify and engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, and in-person visits, building a robust pipeline.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain regular contact with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed individual and team sales goals as outlined in the company’s sales plan.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends and competitors, providing feedback and suggestions to improve sales strategies and product offerings.
- Quotation and Contract Management: Prepare and present quotes to customers, assist in drafting contracts, and ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales performance, including pipeline status, sales results, and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
- Event Participation: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to raise brand awareness and attract potential clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, business or sales
Criteria
- 5-10 years of experience in sales or customer relationship management, especially in [Vermiculite industry].
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with the capacity to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
