Sales Administrator – CLSA

Main job function

Our client who provides Supply Chain Solutions, mainly focusing on Inventory Planning Solutions. Their customers are retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers across all major industries and they are  looking for a young, dynamic individual with an interest in gaining work experience in the sales field. The main job role will include research, running email campaigns and cold calling and finding new leads and scheduling meetings, as well as nurturing the client pipeline.

  

Qualifications

  • Matric with a Diploma or related qualification.
  • Understanding or Experience in Supply Chain would be advantageous.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a Sales role, preferably Telesales
  • Confident in making cold calls to C-level management
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel & specifically PowerPoint)
  • HubSpot or CRM experience would be advantageous.
  • Must have the ability to plan and organise
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be Tech Savvy – able to speak technology with ease
  • Experience working with technology solutions would be advantageous
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.

 

 Criteria

Key performance areas:

  • Desktop research of potential sales leads based on agreed criteria and creatively finding ways to contact the right individuals in those companies.
  • Can bring customers and audience members to the business with the potential to build actual relationships and communicating with them, rather than at them.
  • Cold calling in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings.
  • Manage and run email campaigns.
  • Identifying and developing new business through networking and courtesy and follow-up calls.
  • Meeting sales targets set by managers and contributing to team targets.
  • Managing workload in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals.
  • Contributing to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.
  • Keep the CRM tool (HubSpot) up to date from sales meetings

 

Salary

Market related, based on qualification and experience.

 Hybrid policy where individuals can work from home or from the office, but do expect some days in the office
