Project Operations and Administration Manager -(DOPOAM)

Our client based in Somerset West in the Western Cape are currently seeking the skills of a Project Operations and Administration Manager

 

The role will oversee and optimize the organization’s operational, admin, project and financial support functions. The role ensures efficient day-to-day ops, strong internal controls, effective use of core business systems (including Xero and Cin7) and seamless coordination across business units. A central element is the coordination and operational management of projects ensuring timelines, resources, budgets and deliverables are tracked and aligned across teams while supporting management with accurate reporting and insight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance or a related field or a Diploma in Financial Accounting

 

Criteria

• 3–7 years’ experience in operations or administrative management.
• Strong experience using Xero or a similar cloud-based accounting system.
• Experience managing or administering a core business system (CRM, ERP or operational platform).
• Proven process-improvement and project management skills.
• Demonstrated project coordination/management —planning, scheduling, budgeting and cross-functional team coordination.
• Familiarity with project-management tools and methodologies (Gantt charts; Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches).
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Xero, Microsoft Office and system administration.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
• Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
• Project planning, scheduling and resource coordination capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
