Project Manager (Digital Transformation, IT/Business Alignment, or Strategic Projects) One-Year Fixed Term Contract – (SMPM)

Main job function

 

The digital transformation, IT/Business Alignment Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering strategic business projects that support organizational goals. This role bridges business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while driving measurable business value.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business priorities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business units, IT, finance, and external partners.
  • Facilitate communication between leadership, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, dashboards, and presentations.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and track resolutions.
  • Ensure adherence to governance processes and compliance standards.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Conduct business needs assessments, define requirements, and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Analyse existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Support change management activities, including training and communication.

Quality & Performance Monitoring

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
  • Track KPIs, ROI, and benefits realization post‑implementation.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in project management or business transformation roles.

Criteria

  • Experience working in digital transformation, IT/business alignment, or strategic projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, PMO frameworks).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
