Onsite Customer Support Technician

 

Purpose

 

The Onsite Customer Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support

to a designated customer on-site and ensuring the efficient resolution of all support

tickets

Key Responsibilities

 

Technical Support:

 

Providing on-site technical support to the designated customer, including creation,

assignment, resolution, and closure of support tickets

Areas of Support:

 

Windows Desktop Support

Basic Microsoft Server Support

Basic Network Support

Basic PBX Solution Support

Microsoft 365 Management

Data Management

Documentation:

 

Maintaining all ICT-related information in a documented format

  1. Processes:

 

Monitoring current ICT processes to ensure their relevance and up-to-date status

Assessing customer environments to identify opportunities for improvement

  1. Customer Interaction:

 

Direct engagement with the designated customer to address their queries and concerns

Traveling between sites as needed for support

  1. Professionalism:

Adherence to corporate standards of professionalism

  1. Language:

o Have a good grasp of the English language.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

CompTIA A+

CompTIA Network+

1-3 years of experience in the industry

Preferred Skills

 

ITIL Foundation certifications

Microsoft Office, Desktop, Server, Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint

 

Desirable Qualifications

MD-102 – Endpoint Administrator

MS-300 – Deploying MS365 Teamwork

MS-500 – MS365 Security Admin

MS-100 – MS365 Identity and Services

MS-101 – MS365 Mobility and Security

CompTIA Sec+

 

Remuneration

R 12 000 to R 14 000 per month
