Main job function
- Oversee and manage all Hot Foods department
- Management of a team of subordinates
- Creating and managing menu / range
- Managing the existing home replacement meals
- Manage kitchen and production staff
- Continuous quality inspection of all products
- Planning/ leading/ organizing and controlling all activities in the Department
- Achieve monthly GP and targets
- Handle all administrative matters pertaining to the Department
- Maintain product range and presentation
- Perform regular price surveys on competition
- Shrinkage and Waste Management in all production processes
- Receive stock
- Monthly stock takes
- Check food weighing and portioning
- Train kitchen staff on prep work and food weighing, portioning and packaging
- Establish portion sizes and packaging
- Schedule kitchen staff shifts
- Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
- Keep weekly and monthly cost reports
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
- Checking food temperature
- Maintain a fully stocked kitchen inventory
- Comply with safety and cleanliness standards.

- Minimum three years’ experience
- MS Office
