Main job function
• Supervise site staff and daily construction activities
• Allocate labour, materials, plant, and other resources effectively
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors on site
• Oversee project scheduling and task coordination
• Supervise the safe and efficient use of plant and machinery
• Ensure all health and safety regulations and site compliance requirements are adhered to
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
• Carry out accurate setting out and verification of work
• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Report on site progress and resolve site-related issues where required
Qualifications
• Grade 12
Criteria
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Construction Foreman
• Proven experience supervising residential building projects (Specifically estates)
• Must reside in Durban North Coast region
Remuneration: R40 000 Per month
