CODE 10 DRIVER TO WORK IN THE FREIGHT AND COURIER INDUSTRY WITH CROSS BOARDER EXPERIENCE.
Must have own transport to work.
Must have a passport.
At least 10 years driving experience.
Preferably courier experience for crossborder.
Having a Dangerous Goods license an advantage.
Having a forklift license also a very good advantage.

Criteria
• Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:
Performing daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects, and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Load Management:
Assisting with loading and offloading, securing the load, and being responsible for the load from origin to destination.
• Compliance and Documentation:
Adhering to all traffic laws, company safety regulations, and customs procedures. Completing required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Communication and Reporting:
Maintaining regular communication with dispatchers, reporting any incidents or accidents immediately, and providing updates on delivery progress.
• Safe Driving Practices:
Driving responsibly and safely, adhering to speed limits, and avoiding fatigue.
• Route Planning and Navigation:
Planning routes effectively, staying on course, and being adaptable to potential changes or delays.
• Customer Service:
Providing professional customer service and maintaining a respectful demeanor with customers and their staff.
• Additional Duties:
Performing other reasonable duties as required, which may include assisting with hitching and unhitching trailers, shunting, and monitoring fuel consumption.
