Main job function
- Overseeing daily operations of the grocery store.
- Monitoring fuel levels, arranging timely deliveries, and ensuring accurate meter readings.
- Ensuring proper stock levels in the grocery store (ordering, receiving, and managing inventory).
- Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization across the station and store.
- Implementing and monitoring company policies and procedures.
- Managing cash flow, banking, and reconciliation of daily sales.
- Monitoring fuel and grocery sales performance and reporting to head office/owner.
- Controlling expenses, reducing shrinkage, and preventing theft or loss.
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
- Ensuring staff provide good customer service and adhere to safety protocols.
- Motivating and maintaining a productive workforce.
- Ensuring a high standard of customer service at pumps and in the store.
- Handling customer complaints or escalations professionally.
- Running promotions and loyalty programs where applicable
Qualifications
- Grade 12
Criteria
- At least 5 years of experience in a management role within the retail sector
- Retail grocery experience essential
- Knowledge of SAP
Salary
R19’000 CTC
