Install, repairs, and maintains water, drainage, and heating systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Qualifications
1. Relevant plumbing qualifications.
2. Minimum 5 (five) years of experience post-graduation in a similar position.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
4. An understanding of health and safety standards.
5. Ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate information in a simple way to a diverse range of people.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with collaboration tools
Criteria
Key Performance Areas:
• General plumbing and maintenance.
Stock management. Quality Control.
2. Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
3. Water dispensing units and related works
4. Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
5. Follow building plans and blueprints.
6. Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
7. Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
8. Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required.
9. Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
10. Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used
Remuneration Package
• Contract: Permanent; office & site based.
• Office hours: Monday to Thursday: 08h00 to 17h00 Friday: 08h00 to 15h00 Saturday and Sunday: ad hoc basis.
• Salary will be in the region of R 17 000.00 to R 25 000.00 gross remuneration per month. • Inclusive of gross remuneration: o Pension Fund (10%) Contribution – Employer 5% and Employee 5%. o Pro-rata 13th cheque in birthday month. • Annual leave consisting of 15 working days per annum, with a forced shutdown during December to be kept in mind.
