Internal Team Manager – CLITM

Main job function

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Internal Team Manager to oversee and optimise our internal team’s performance, discipline, and efficiency. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with excellent people management skills, a strong background in digital marketing and metrics reporting, and a solid understanding of HR practices. The ideal candidate will ensure that our team operates smoothly, remains motivated, and continuously improves. They will also be responsible for client engagement, assessing individual performance, and managing company resources effectively.

 

 Qualifications

Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CRM, marketing analytics, project management software).

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in team management, digital marketing, or operations.

Demonstrable experience in metrics reporting and data analysis.

Strong leadership presence and ability to motivate teams.

Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CRM, marketing analytics, project management software).

Proven experience in team management, HR, or operations leadership.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, metrics, and performance reporting.

Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to assess individual and team performance objectively.

Experience in client communication and relationship management.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Good understanding of software tools related to digital marketing, project management, and reporting.

Ability to handle disciplinary issues professionally and ethically.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

Background in HR or related fields is advantageous.

Confidence in client interactions and performance evaluations.

Ability to work independently and report directly to the CEO.

 

 Criteria

Team Management & Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the team, ensuring optimal productivity and engagement. Identify and address issues related to time management, performance, or discipline.

Performance Assessment:  Regularly evaluate team members’ output and quality of work. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance.

Client Engagement: Meet with clients as needed to understand their needs, ensure satisfaction, and facilitate communication between clients and the internal team.

Resource Planning & Staffing: Identify gaps in skills or capacity within the team. Make recommendations for upskilling existing staff or hiring new personnel.

Discipline & HR Oversight: Enforce company policies, maintain a positive work environment, and handle disciplinary issues professionally.

Metrics & Reporting: Develop, monitor, and analyse digital marketing and operational metrics. Use reports to guide team improvements and strategic decisions.

Cost Management: Monitor software and operational costs, identify waste, and recommend cost-saving measures.

Process Optimisation: Streamline workflows, improve time management practices, and ensure the team’s activities align with company goals.

Training & Development: Facilitate ongoing training initiatives to keep the team current with industry best practices and new skills.
