Digital Marketer – SSDM

Main job function

We are looking for an energetic detail-orientated digital marketing specialist with a good FMCG understanding to develop and execute the digital marketing strategy for our stores.

We are looking for someone with a passion for social media, influencer marketing and building a community of loyal customers.  We are an inhouse agency for retail stores and need someone who thinks on their feet, can get their hands dirty and is innovative and creative, with a strong knowledge of social and digital platforms and extremely tech savvy.

What you will do:

Responsible for the digital accounts – across social, web and ECRM. Manage everything from budgeting, to planning, strategy, content creation and execution across digital marketing, social media, and content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy across social (organic and paid), ECRM and web.
  • Prepare and manage digital marketing budget.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure all digital campaigns ladder up to the overall marketing strategy.
  • Strategic and creative input as part of the larger team to develop campaign concepts and execution thereof.
  • Develop, produce and direct scripts for customer responses, including art direction and content management in front of a camera, as well as videos related to the marketing strategy.
  • Produce content through infographics, video or other digital media to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Responsible for setting KPIs and delivering monthly reports to key stakeholders.
  • Build and grow the social channels, delivering on the set of agreed KPIs.
  • Developing and implementing a brand ambassador programme and influencer strategy
  • Responsible for overseeing all digital community management across social, web and email.
  • Brief creative agency team and manage creative needs for all digital platforms.
  • Assist in media buying across ATL, TTL and BTL. Mainly on social and Google ads, programmatic – plus billboard, print, radio, etc.
  • Marketing liaison for tenants to align on their social media needs.
  • Track Google Analytics data to improve results.
  • Manage and oversee updates and content needed on the company’s websites.
  • Provide insights, competitive analysis, and trends to improve digital the company’s presence, content and to better reach the target audience.
  • Manage the Community Manager/Team Assistant

What do you need:

  • A degree or qualification in marketing or equivalent experience
  • Strong copywriting skills for various formats.
  • Excellent on-camera presence and interviewing skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management skills.
  • Strong editing/proofing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing, fast-paced team.
  • Having your own transport is a must.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
