Call Centre Agent – Medical Industry – SSCCA

Main job function

  • Conduct outbound calls to medical professionals.
  • Identify client needs.
  • Generate qualified leads and close sales
  • Accurately capture and maintain client records on the CRM system
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and industry requirements
  • Maintain and nurture ongoing client relationships to support retention opportunities

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
  • 2–3 years’ sales experience within a call centre environment (insurance sales preferred)
  • Experience in short-term or life insurance (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of the medical fraternity market (advantageous)
  • Computer literate (MS Office and CRM systems)

Knowledge & Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of insurance products and underwriting processes
  • Knowledge of professional indemnity and medical malpractice insurance (preferred)
  • Sales pipeline management
  • CRM system usage and reporting
