A growing international organisation involved in automation as well as consulting engineering services is seeking a qualified mechanical engineer.
Qualifications
Qualifications and experience:
NDIP or BEng – Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years
Requirements:
- Previous history within an automation environment will be advantageous
- Proficient in Inventor. (knowledge of Vault advantageous)
- Mechanical design experience
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Machining skills and knowledge of machining methods. (Material selection, surface treatments, etc.)
- Generate manufacturing drawings
- Systems design and engineering
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Valid passport and willing to travel
- Strong self-motivation skills, with a focused attitude
- Must have the ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Take ownership of assigned tasks
- Works well under pressure
- Must be able to commit to deadlines
- Willing to assist with mechanical assembly. (Hands on)
- Proficient in excel, to assist with admin tasks such as the correct data capturing of items to procure, etc.
- Must be willing to put in extra time and effort when required
