A leading brand name in second-hand car parts is on the hunt for a new Finance Manager. This is a great opportunity for a skilled self-starter to manage the admin department.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all relevant supporting documents are in place prior to capturing transactions
• Ensure all cashbooks are allocated on a daily basis (debtors)
• Prepare/review term creditor recons
• Reconcile/review panel shop debtors accounts and send out statements weekly
• Monitor debtor and creditor accounts, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Review, verify, and authorise COD creditor reconciliations
• Review RFP’s
• Process RFCs (Request for Credit)
• Evaluate and approve or reject RFCs
• Review, complete, and request approval of capital expenditure requests.
• Cash flow management – Forecast and manage daily and monthly cash flow needs.
• Reconcile/review Credit Card Spend recons
• Tracking 2nd hand goods suppliers
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Excel
Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably worked with stock
Remuneration: Up to R960,000 p/a
