Main job function
An Experienced Technician with a wide range of knowledge of voice data and security technologies.
Duties:
Wireless installation / maintenance
Network installation / maintenance
Hardware installation for network infrastructure
Troubleshooting technical issues
Monitoring performance of local networks
Documentation of systems and infrastructures
Assist junior technicians
Experience:
Advance knowledge of networking on Miktrotik and Ubiquiti devices
Strong troubleshooting ability and results focused approach
Strong VOIP knowledge
Strong CCTV knowledge
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License
Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Bilingual
Leadership skills
Miktrotik and Ubiquiti training and experience minimum 2 years of experience
Extensive knowledge of Networking configurations
No fear of heights (a valid fall arrest certificate will be advantageous)
Able to work overtime
Advanced understanding of VOIP phones and PBX Servers
Advanced understanding of both analogue and digital CCTV cameras
