Main job function
To represent premium liquor brands within the on-consumption channel (bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs), driving brand visibility, consumer engagement, and sales through strategic activations, relationship building, and education.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key on-premise accounts.
- Drive sales through menu placements, staff engagement, and upselling strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand brand presence in the hospitality sector.
Brand Representation & Education
- Act as the face of the brand at events, tastings, and trade shows.
- Educate bartenders, waitstaff, and venue managers on product features and brand stories.
- Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations to enhance brand knowledge.
Promotions & Activations
- Plan and execute in-venue activations, including themed nights, tastings, and cocktail showcases.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to roll out seasonal campaigns and promotions.
- Monitor and report on activation performance and consumer feedback.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Gather insights on competitor activity, market trends, and consumer preferences.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, account activity, and brand visibility.
- Offer strategic input to improve brand positioning and campaign effectiveness.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in liquor sales or brand representation, preferably in the on-consumption channel.
- Strong network within the hospitality industry in Johannesburg.
- Proven ability to drive sales and execute successful brand activations.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
