Client in the Higher Education industry is seeking the services of an experienced, and dynamic WEBMASTER to join their organization.
Main job function
Maintain all websites delegated by the company
Ensure that the sites along with the pages attached to them are in working order
Review each site and mark out the changes required in it
Check the level of security in each site and update it
Make sure that the sites are secured and the user data they may incorporate is also safeguarded
Ensure that the sites are user friendly and easy to navigate
Possess knowledge about the client requirements and analyse the websites accordingly to bring suitable changes in them
Check the originality of the websites and ensure that the content is not duplicated on other platforms
Execute a regular follow up and assessment of the performance of the sites
Analyse the site layouts and structures, HTML coding, navigation systems, etc., for optimizing the content with a view to receive top search engine rankings and enhance the visibility of the websites
Plan out future modifications for the sites and keep abreast with new technologies and software to develop the online presence and success of the sites
Manages marketing automation tool: uses marketing automation tool to create campaign tools such as landing pages, email campaign templates, sales and customer support tools, mobile, display banners and online advertisements
Optimizes website exposure by analysing search engine patterns to direct online placement of keywords or other content.
Recommends and implements continuous improvement, responsiveness and search engine optimization (SEO).
Collects and analyses Web metrics, such as visits, time on site, page views per visit, transaction volume and revenue, traffic mix, click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, or cost per click.
Assists in creation and delivery of internal electronic communications such as newsletters and webinars as needed
A bachelor's degree in computer science
3-5 years’ relevant experience in a detail-oriented role preferably within the Software industry or in a Marketing function.
Proven knowledge about HTML5, HTML CSS3, and W3C coding practices, including internet related software.
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
Technical knowledge about the latest developments and internet features
Possess a portfolio of past websites built and responsibilities of each project
Advanced skills navigating Photoshop and saving images for the web
Strong knowledge of and experience with web marketing best practices, e.g. SEO and SEM
Hard-working, motivated, deadline-driven individual
Understanding and use of web metrics and how to gauge performance
Comfortable working in a corporate office environment
Ability to manage different projects in a fast-paced environment
