Multi National based in Gauteng has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Training Manager to head up their training centre.
Main Job Function
Oversee the daily function of the training centre and employees.
The technical trainer will ensure that the all the learners and the apprentices program are running according to plan and that they meet their requirements.
Responsible for the training policies and the procedures.
Liaise with Namb and MerSeta on matters pertaining to the training centre and the apprentices and learners.
Ensure that the annual WSP and ATR reports are submitted to the relevant authorities.
Manage the training centre budget.
Attend all the meetings at the Bargaining council as well as attend the meetings at Namb and MerSeta.
Ensure that the training plans for the learners and the apprentices are completed and that their schedules are up to date.
Ensure that trade test plans are up to date.
Order the safety materials for the training centre.
Ensure that the learners and apprentices complete their CBT and onsite accreditation before they go into the field.
Approve all the contracts of the learners and the apprentices
Approve salary increases.
Serve on the Skills development and Equity committee
Qualified as a lift technician/Inspector highly advantageous.
Trade Qualification Electronics/Mechanical essential.
Must be registered with Namb and MerSeta as assessor and moderator
Must have technical experience within the elevator or Electronics/Mechanic industry.
Must have a minimum of 5 years training experience within the elevator industry
Must have experience in conducting trade tests both assessing and moderating
