This senior level 3 position provides support to a diverse range of customers in a small business
The ideal candidate needs to emigrate to Australia and will be willing to pay for the relocation costs.
The minimum duties expected in this role will include:
Support to commercial clients and agency clients
Support of our users and in-house network and servers
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server structures
Ability to troubleshoot hardware problems (disk arrays, controllers, tape drives etc)
Phone support for network clients
Scheduled and remedial on-site maintenance for network clients with an emphasis on preventative maintenance
Support of the other team members with research of problems and on-site installations
Testing and configuring equipment prior to installation
Delivery, installation and commissioning of network infrastructure
Project Management and coordination of system installations
Regular time and revenue reporting
Monitor job log, priorities. Ensure rapid turnaround including customer notification and dispatch of parts.
Follow up with suppliers on technical problems - solutions and fixes
Deal effectively with customer enquiries, complaints and concerns
Remote onsite support
Remote fault resolution
Remote travel where required
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Relevant B. Degree
Microsoft certificates would be nice.
Experience with server 2016/2019
Experience with Remote Desktop services
Experience with Active Directory and group policies
Experience with Fortinet devices
Microsoft 365 and azure
Experience in Telecommunications and cabling rectification would be an
advantage
