Job Description:

Main job function

To develop, implement and manage the forecasting and demand planning strategy and requirements of all new and used inventory for company. Scheduling and prioritizing all short-, mid- and long- term forecasting activities associated with sales and rental demands from the branch sales departments

To liaise effectively with Sales, Order Management, Logistics and demanding planners to identify demand forecast

To develop and maintain best practice systems for imports and exports

To lead daily and monthly forecast and inventory planning meetings with branch Sales and Logistics teams, as well as with Sales and Logistics directors to review and make recommendations about sales and rental forecasts and inventory goals

To meet quality targets and identify improvements with regards to maintenance of used equipment

To participate in monthly Sales meetings with Branch Managers

To provide weekly and monthly stock forecast and other relevant reports for Sales and Operations Directors 

To ensure efficient communication with Sales Engineers and Design team

To manage and promote the OPERIA material exchange program

To liaise and share pertinent information with branch Transport Managers / Supervisors

To train and manage team effectively

Become Supply Chain Management degree or Diploma / Qualified Industrial Engineer


Proven experience in delivering forecasting, planning and inventory management

Experience in Demand Planning

Experience in formwork industry will be an advantage

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff

Full MS Office, Extensive spreadsheet analysis in Excel

Valid driver’s license and own vehicle

Excellent understanding of business and business processes

Systems thinking

Strong financial / math skills

Excellent knowledge of demand planning processes
