Multi National company has a vacancy for a Specialised Sales Consultant to market Specialised adhesive solutions to the Automotive & manufacturing industries in the PE Region. 5 years’ experience in selling to the automotive sector and via OE, 1 & 2 Tier supply chain. Technical aptitude, a valid driver license and a reliable vehicle are essential.

Main job function
Maintain existing business and customer relationships on specific accounts.
Increase customers spend by selling across the range.
Identify opportunities in the Auto Sector via OE, 1st tier & 2 tier supply chain.
Develop new markets for value added products for self-adhesive tapes.
Prospecting and New Business Development.
Manage customer engagement, utilising the Sales System.
Meet with the Line Manager every Friday or as scheduled for progress updates and or strategy change or focus.
Manage product pricing and communicate price increases as they occur
Grade 12 or equivalent with mechanical/ technical drawing subjects (preferable)
Post matric technical slant NQF 6-7 level (ideal)
Post matric financial skills set
Minimum, 5 year’s sales/selling experience in the Auto/ Industrial sector/ manufacturing/ process environment.
Experience with technical products and or have process exposure.
Any sales and/or marketing qualifications will be an advantage.
Own car and valid driver’s license
Knowledge of ERP systems
Microsoft Office literate.
Must be a good verbal communicator with relevant key points
Must have the ability to construct relevant structured reports
Sales skills must include CRM or sales process experience.
Prospecting/Business Development experience.
Pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical technical aptitude
Production process or automation experience.
Experience in the managing of specific contracts and projects including the installation of the specific equipment sold as well as operator training.
Knowledge of the Occupation Health & Safety Act.
