Main job function
The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring products at all stages of production meet the required quality standards before they are released to the next process stage or customer.
Higher Diploma or Engineering degree in Chemical/Mechanical discipline
IATF Certified Quality Auditor (1st party auditor) and VDA 6.3 Process Auditor
3 - 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance engineering. Exposure in high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the Automotive industry.
Ensure compliance to manufacturing SOPs, Control Plans within the production environment and assist with adherence to the Quality Management System (IATF 16949: 2016).
Ensure inputs and outputs from all processes meet required quality standards.
Identify and raise quality issues to Production and speedily resolve them to ensure zero impact to downstream processes and customer.
Measure, collect, analyze, report and monitor factory failures data using statistical techniques and complex spreadsheets
Support new product introductions to ensure the robustness of product builds by collaborating with the Product Development team to determine process capabilities and possible process failure modes (APQP).
Conduct, support, and provide analysis for machine/process/quality information following FMEA and APQP standards.
Stop production in the event of manufacture of unacceptable goods/processes.
Internal auditor for product, process, and system audits.
