MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To support the business with talent management services that attract, develop, retain talent and build critical skills and capabilities for the business.
To fulfil the role of Supervising Industrial Psychologist for the organization to ensure assessment compliance as regulated by the HPCSA and mentor Industrial Psychology Interns (when required).
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Support the business with an assessment service for screening and selection to support the appointment and development of talent, and to provide team assessments
Ensure that on-boarding and performance management processes are correctly understood and applied throughout the organization
Lead the implementation and maintenance of a robust talent identification, succession and career development program that supports current and future leadership needs for identified areas of the business Implement and maintain a robust process for career development at all levels and across disciplines in the business
Advise managers and co-ordinate coaching services (internal network and external vendors) to the business Support and coach managers with developing and managing retention strategies, plans, and initiatives that address risk of high employee turnover
Provide input and support to the development, implementation and maintenance of identified Employee Experience & Culture Enablement processes and related systems/initiatives
Act as the Supervising Industrial/Organizational Psychologist for the organization as per the HPCSA regulations and lead the psychometric assessment service.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Essential Education
Masters degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology
DESIRED EDUCATION
Certified in a range of psychometric assessments (e.g. CPP; OPQ) Coaching certification (COMENSA/ ICF)
Professional Registration
Registered Industrial/ Organizational Psychologist with the HPCSA
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential Minimum Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Talent Management or related role
Desired Experience
Experience as an Industrial Psychologist, working with different assessments and / or experience in organizational development
