Main job function
We are looking for a self-motivated and driven individual with thorough knowledge of all labour legislation, labour consulting and dispute resolution procedures.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with labour legislation, collective agreements and CCMA proceedings and arbitration's.
- At least 6 years’ experience as a Labour/IR Consultant;
- Drafting skills
- Managing strike action
- Wage negotiations
- Workplace discipline
- Retrenchments
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
Criteria
Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
Must be willing to travel.
Critical skills: Communication (written and spoken – English), planning, organizing and coordinating, good timekeeping, decisive thinking abilities, ability to work under pressure and strong writing skills;
Knowledge of computer operations and programs (Advanced skills in Ms Word, Outlook, and Excel).
