Job Description:

Trading company based in Switzerland URGENTLY seeking driven, self-motivated, dynamic sales representative with “hunter mentality” to join their growing worldwide team




Main job function


Build up a customer base within the South African steel and ferro alloy industry for


companies carbon products/anthracite coal


Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships


Reach out to potential new customers 


Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction


Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule


Coordinate sales effort with head-office


Analyze market’s potential, track sales and status reports


Supply head-office with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services


Manage sales cycle


Matric with BS or BA degree added advantage

  5+ years experience  

Proven work experience as a sales representative for raw material to the steel or ferro alloy


industry in South Africa


Ability to build productive business professional relationships


Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales


Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills


Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills


Ability to plan and work independent


Relationship management skills and openness to feedback


BS/BA degree or equivalent
