Manufacturing concern seeks an experienced Sales Manager to grow new and existing markets within the Oil, Chemical and Paint Markets within the KZN region.
Main job function
Serves customers by selling our products; meeting customer needs and liaise with the manufacturing plant.
Organizing data and gathering information (analysis of Sales data, market trends, segmentation and competitive activity).
Highly motivated and be able to work to deadline in a fast paced
environment and possess an excellent grasp of the English language.
Meeting Sales budget targets – monthly, annually and stretch targets.
Relevant Bachelor’s degree
Sales experience in Oil, Chemical, or Paint Industries
Knowledge of steel/metal products would be an added advantage.
Managerial experience is a must.
Sales growth in KZN region. Implement sales plans to achieve sales budget, additional sales volume and profitability goals where raw material is within the range of 60% to 64% of selling price.
Develop account plans and unit opportunity win plans for the targeted accounts. Develop and maintain existing customer relationship. Effectively manage customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Manage sales pipeline and CRM database
Provide input for planning.
Manage a small sales team.
Plan customer calls and visits to provide the appropriate level of service to existing and new customers with a focus on retaining / expanding existing business relationships and acquiring new business.
Sales and Month End Reporting
Account customer movement, etc.
Updating competitor database and market share by product and by region.
