Job Description:

International Beauty, hair, skin and accessory company is looking to appoint a Sales Manager for the marketing & sales of USA Cosmetic brands. You will be required to identify business opportunities and develop relationships with prospective national retailers. Experience of selling to national retailers is essential as well as leading a sales team.

Main job function

Manage the sales team – external sales consultants and internal sales

Gather reports from sales persons and report to the director

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

Negotiate prime positioning in stores

Present, promote and sell beauty products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

Resolve customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

Ability to analyse target market’s potential, track sales and status reports

Able to supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

Propose best practices and promotional trends

Increase forward share, floor share, shelf share of our products

Perform additional duties as requested

Grade 12 (matric)

Any relevant tertiary qualification

At least 3 years sales management experience


Strong sales history.

Good presentation skills

Excellent communication and Analytical skills.

Person who can manage sales staff and also run sales directly

Experience of selling to national retailers

Ability to identify business opportunities and to develop relationships with prospective retailers.

Operations experience will be an advantage.
