Our client based in Gauteng currently have an opportunity for a Sales Engineer with experience in the dust extraction/industrial air filtration industry.
To promote and develop business in the Industrial Air Filtration Division’s sphere of expertise and area of operation with a view to keeping abreast with and improving the companies Systems overall turnover and profit forecasts.
Main job function
New Business development
Maintenance of current business
Promotion of new business opportunities from within designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility.
Servicing of existing business opportunities from within designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility.
Assisting in the development of spares and servicing business in the designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility.
Collection and simulation of information required for production well engineered and accurately costed solutions to client needs.
Presentation of solutions to clients.
Follow up and closure of all business opportunities.
Production of business opportunity and follow up reports.
Maintenance of business opportunity recording and filing systems.Keeping abreast with company product developments and their areas of opportunity
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – advantageous
2 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role with relevant industry experience in dust extraction/industrial air filtration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
