Client, based in Claremont, Cape Town in the Insurance Industry currently have an opportunity for a Retention Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in the Insurance Industry and would like to grow their career further.
The retention team is responsible for the retention of the individual policyholder and resolving arrear premiums, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
This position is ideal for a hardworking individual that can work independently and enjoys interacting with clients and can market products effectively. The candidate must also enjoy doing administration relating to the interaction with clients. Enough training and support will be provided and the opportunities for a hard-working candidate that likes new challenges are unlimited.

Main job function
Contact clients in arrears and reach agreement on how arrears will be settled
Retain the client by effectively handling objections and creating a need for the product Update administration system with bank details, contact details, cancellations and interactions with clients
Communicating arrear premiums in writing and other client communication e.g. resubmit policy documents to clients
Handling inbound cancellation calls and responding to client e-mails on a timely basis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good marketing and sales techniques and excellent objection handling skills
Good customer service delivery
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good MS Office, especially Microsoft Outlook skills
Planning and organizing
Works well in a team
Ability to learn new systems and product information
3 Years’ experience in a Sales environment
1-year Debt collecting experience
Customer service and administration experience
Insurance industry experience
Good Excel skills
