A large well established manufacturing company is looking for a Reporting Accountant to join their ranks
Main job function
· The main purpose of the job is to provide accurate and reliable reporting to the relevant reports
Matric
BCom Accounting
Honours – added advantage
Duties will include but not be limited too:
5-7 years experience in the finance sector with at least 3 of those years in Financial Management role
Accurate and reliable reporting
Monthly management reports within deadlines
Cash flow forecasts
Actual vs Budget vs forecast analysis
Annual financial reports and statements, GL and trial balance
Annual budgeting
Tax compliance, SARS efiling, VAT 201 and EMP 201 returns
External audit and internal audit management
Balance sheet reconciliations are produced on an accurate and timely basis to include bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors, assets, stock and inter-company account
Ensure budget analysis and variance analysis is done
Query variances and resolve issues identified
Effective management of staff by
Ensure that staff members are motivated by providing leadership and direction.
Conduct performance reviews with staff twice a year.
Undertake personal development/career action plans for incumbents reporting to you.
In consultation with national HR implement training initiatives where required to support on the job training and guidance.
Undertake disciplinary and grievance hearings when necessary.
Monitor staff discipline against company policy and take action when necessary. Ensure adherence to Company policies an procedures Compliance with the Chart of Authority |
