Job Description:

Main job function

The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the company's products and processes meet established quality standards to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction, by adherence to procedures, identifying shortfalls, developing corrective measures, and implementing quality control systems.

Qualifications:

Minimum Quality Assurance Degree. Engineering degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering would be an advantage.

IATF Certified Quality Auditor (1st Party)

3 - 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance engineering. Exposure in high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the Automotive industry.

 
Experience:

Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (IATF 16949).

Ensure incoming materials meet required quality standards,

Identify and raise quality issues and speedily resolve them to ensure zero impact to the customer. Lead interdisciplinary teams in addressing and resolving problems utilizing Kaizen event, 8D, and 5-why to arrive at root cause

Measure, collect, analyze, report and monitor factory failure data using SPC techniques and complex spreadsheets

Support new product introductions to ensure the robustness of product builds. Collaborate with the Product Development team to determine capabilities and possible process failure modes (APQP).

Conduct, support, and provide analysis for machine/process/quality information following FMEA and APQP standards.

Participate in cross-functional teams in the changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements.

Collaborate with Engineering and Production regarding the engineering changes and specifications, PPAP and PFMEA.

Stop production in the event of manufacture of unacceptable goods/processes.

Monitor, analyze and report on quality-related Key Performance Indicators including scrap monitoring, rework levels, parts per million (PPM) figures. Manage and coordinate customer PPM (Parts per Million), supplier complaints rate, supplier problem solving on time, cost recovery.

Conduct audits of supplier quality system and approve new suppliers along with verify ongoing supplier compliance.

Manage the customer specific requirements and offer technical support. Review contracts, drawings, routings, purchase orders, shop instructions and various related production and development plans for quality requirements.

Responsible for multiple highly complex major projects requiring innovative original solutions.
