Our client, a leading provider of Customer Engagement and Communications software for a range of industries including Financial Services, Communications, Utilities and Healthcare, is growing fast, seeks a Project Manager to lead large and small scale professional service project implementations for a diverse range of clients in multiple industries including but not limited to financial services and Communications.

Main job function
Manage multiple projects simultaneously through the full project cycle; from pre-sales to closure, according to the Companies project management practices
Oversee all assigned projects, tasks, operational processes, repeat campaigns and automated projects
Lead requirement gathering and analysis; define specifications and create documentation for assigned projects
Provide regular reporting on projects and assigned tasks
Create Statements of Work, Work Orders and Change Requests that encompass all requirements, deliverables, schedules, and pricing
Develop meeting agendas, facilitate, and lead regular client meetings, draft, and distribute meeting notes and project status reports
Produce internal documentation such as project templates, training agendas and contribute to the PMO process improvement initiatives
Track projects to meet deliverables; maintain budget, scope, and schedule. Anticipate and manage risks throughout the project life cycle
Manage internal and external resources in a geographically dispersed environments to meet development and delivery commitments and deadlines
Build, maintain and track detailed project management plans to include resource, schedule, cost, and quality components
Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships, while managing internal and external stakeholders’ expectations
Provide overall leadership to the project team and create an environment where team members are motivated to perform
The Project Manager will be responsible for any other functions that management may require from time to time
Some weekend and off-hours work for production deployment may be required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, project management, business or other related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years’ experience working in a Financial and Communications services environment as a project manager. Experience with managing external client-facing projects is an asset
Experience in document processing, document imaging, electronic content storage
Experience managing software implementation project teams in both traditional waterfall and agile project management methodologies
Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder management
Proven ability to manage internal, external, and geographically dispersed resources to meet development commitments and deadlines
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated and self-directed individual
Proficient computer skills using project management software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce / FinancialForce PSA, Jira an asset
PMP (or currently pursuing), or equitant certification
Excellent organization and presentation skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational and presentation skills
Ability to create and manage complex project plans
