A Community development trust focusing on developing projects surrounding mining operations in the Limpopo & Northern Cape Regions would like to appoint a Programme Manager: Enterprise Development based in the Northern Cape. This role will drive design and implementation of high impact and sustainable community-based Enterprise Development projects. Degree in Business/NQF8. Project Management qualification. AA/EE position. Periodic travel to Gauteng & Limpopo Province.
Main job function
Provide input in the review and lead the Company’s social investment strategy. Portfolio Management:
Develop appropriate projects pipelines
Ensure the appropriate studies are completed
Design, package & submit proposals for approval
Lead the implementation
Implement and manage budgets
Identify and develop processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost drivers
Manage project service providers payments
Build & maintain healthy, diverse internal & external relationships
Implement remedial actions where required
Provide specialised technical and professional support to internal/external stakeholders
Manage the development team
Provide input into workforce planning
Implement approved labour plans
Manage people development initiatives
Coach team and create a pro-learning environment.
Governance, Compliance and Risk Management:
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of organisational standards, policies and procedure within span of control and monitor implementation to ensure full compliance etc.
Business Degree or NQF level 8.
Project Management qualification
Master’s degree desirable.
8 years Operational and supervisory in community development projects environment
