Main job function
Responsible for plant production, financial performance, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of planned activities
Lead the manufacturing function within budget and output to meet customer requirements and standards
Full accountability for ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements are met
Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required
The job will require extensive self-management experience, coordination & planning to ensure achievement of project & other milestones
The position will be required to plan & take responsibility for full product support of the vehicles
Engineering Degree is advantageous
Project Management certification is advantageous
Ten years’ experience in Manufacturing / Armoured Vehicles
Operations/Plant background
Extensive knowledge of ERP systems
Project Management experience
