Job Description:

Well establish, large temporary employment services corporate, urgently seeks Operations Controller to join their team in Port Elizabeth

Main job function

Manage approximately up to 300 employees on different sites at any one time

Oversee Site Supervisors on clients’ sites

Time sheet calculation, preparation, etc.

Manage company assets i.e. vehicles, uniforms

Servicing of existing clients

Supervision of reportees

Weekly / Monthly Reports

Fleet Management

Client and Placed Staff support

Implementation of company labour related policies

Recognise training requirements

Attending to IOD’s (injury on duty)

Any other duties required from time to time

Qualifications:

Matric

Tertiary education added advantage

Experience:

3 years’ experience in any of the following industries – labour broking, recruitment, warehousing, distribution services, transport operations, production processes, manufacturing, FMCG trade

Proven ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure

Excellent inter-personal skills at all levels

A keen sense of responsibility in terms of client and employee expectations

A sincere commitment to upgrading and improving the situation of subordinates

Excellent communication skills

Excellent administration skills

Computer literacy

3 years’ experience in incident and accident investigations

3 years’ Health and Safety experience

Proven ability to manage at least 300 employees and manage company assets i.e. vehicles, uniforms

Proven experience in the implementation of company labour related policies

Own cell phone

A valid driver’s license and PDP essential

Own transport

Attention to detail

Zero tolerance for errors

Excellent inter personal skills at all levels (client liaison)
