Main job function
Are you an experienced medical receptionist and eager to be part of a dynamic, vibrant group of dental professionals with a passion for people?
We are in search for someone who resides in La Lucia/Durban North and surrounding areas and who is well-spoken, experienced, adaptable, and someone with great initiative to drive the practice towards success!
Candidate must be computer literate with basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
Our ideal candidate is someone with people skills, who can meet deadlines and who is able to work under pressure. A willingness to learn and grow is an absolute must!
Duties include but not limited to the following:
- Booking appointments
- Answering the phone and dealing with patients directly
- Treatment co-ordination for the practice
- Dental benefits confirmation
- Billing and invoicing
- Authorizations
- Account handling
- Other basic administrative duties
Qualifications
Industry related certifications are essential
Experience/Criteria
- 5 Years’ experience as a Medical Receptionist or experience in a related role.
- Young, modern and enthusiastic.
- Reception within Dental Industry is advantageous.
- Experience in processing Medical Aids and Insurance etc.
- Knowledge of Word & Excel.
- Strong People Skills.
- Multitasking and prioritizing.
- Administrative skills.
- Scheduling and time Management.
