Main job function
Logistics Management
Manage internal warehouse operations and related teams
Manage transport providers for field service operations
Manage logistics network in the country, e.g. Depots
Control forward and reverse logistics processes
Inventory Management
Forward Inventory planning based on past and predicted demands
Analyzing inventory: slow movers, as well as excess and obsolete stock (EOS)
Monitor and report on stock fluctuations and report on fill rate
Liaise with Finance on stock write off, scrap, provisioning etc.
Support Global Purchasing in supplier negotiations
Manage inventory stock takes on all locations
Repair Management
Responsible for accurate repair planning
Monitor and control Repair Quality incl. data reporting
Accurate tracking of Repairs and parts valuation
General
Managing, analyzing and optimizing the performance with appropriate KPIs
Conduct root cause analysis and action plans to increase performance
Identifying and highlighting supply chain improvement opportunities
Assist in special projects and analysis as needed
Report into global spare parts logistics organization
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Logistics or Supply Chain
A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
SAP & Oracle would be an advantage
Experience in indirect and direct commodity management across multiple countries with an understanding of cultural and legal differences
Experience with ERP systems
Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills
Experience in Logistics and Distribution essential
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Strong leadership capabilities to deliver results and to build cross-functional teams
Strategic focus with the ability to analyse, formulate and implement strategic procurement strategies to significantly reduce cost for a global business
Ability to inspire innovative performance of staff, peers and suppliers
High degree of financial and problem-solving ability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
People management skills, solution oriented, analytically strong, team player, communicator, flexible attitude, open for and supporting change
Ability to develop rapport and communicate effectively at all levels
