Our client a leading organization within education/HR space urgently seeks a well rounded legal risk and compliance manager to join their team
Main job function
Strategically plan, coordinate, manage and report on departments and activities related to the shared services, risk, compliance and contract management services
Company Secretarial, Compliance & Business risk management:
Standards, Policies and procedures
Contract & Facilities Negotiation & Management
Operational Efficiency and compliance around data management and process
Relevant tertiary degree or diploma supporting the required skills for the position
At least 5 years’ experience in similar position
- With the relevant department managers, align all activities of the departments to the strategic and growth targets of Signa Group in general and each entity within Signa Group specifically.
- Provide input in tactical strategies at Group and Business Unit level, implementing & reviewing their effectiveness & mitigating risks attached thereto, ensuring Signa Vision & goals are realised.
- Assist CEO’s/GM’s in their strategy formulation, implementation and the operational outcomes, including mentoring or advising where necessary
New Business entities development
· Strategize with and support new businesses’ legal and process development in Signa Group, through assisting in onboarding the entity into the group, supporting them implementing organisational structure, agreements, processes, services, systems, risk management, templates, training. Collaborating with shared services teams to maximise and expedite the new entity settling in.
