Main job function
Achieving Budgeted numbers by product group.
Organizing sales visits
Building, maintaining and delivering on Sales Pipelines (projects)
Interaction with Sales force (building, developing and training)
Key account for new business development as well as servicing of existing customers.
Regularly reviewing market trends and surveys, assessing market needs in terms of new products and aligning key account strategies accordingly.
Developing and implementing sustainable customer relationship strategies to enable sales growth.
Managing and delivering on technical queries and solutions with regards to specialized existing and new products.
Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
Responsible for representing the product to customers in meetings and at field events such as conferences, trade shows and seminars
Able to respond to functional and technical requirements in RFPs
Monthly sales reports for EXCO
Research into complementary technology applicable to what we do
Research into competitor technology & solutions
Providing product education and advice
Tertiary qualification would be advantageous
The ideal candidate is dynamic, highly successful with notable experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C-Suite.
Ideally, they should also possess 10 years demonstrated network, technical knowledge and experience in the lighting industry.
Should possess technical knowledge of LED lighting solutions via suitable qualification or industry experience.
