Job Description:

Manufacturer of electrical equipment on the East Rand requires the services of a dynamic Key Account Manager.

Main job function

Effectively managing key customer accounts.

Building and maintaining new and existing customer relationships

Attending to and resolving technical related queries from customers.

Scheduling appointments to meet both new and existing clients.

Successfully resolving customer sales related queries.

Working as part of the sales team to develop both new and existing markets.

Developing and expanding on a customer portfolio.

Writing accurate sales reports.

Successfully close sales in order to meet sales objectives.

Sourcing and researching new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calls.



Tertiary qualification (electrical engineering) preferable


At least 3-5 years proven working experience in a similar role

Be calm, level-headed, and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

A strong team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and accurately.

Excellent listening skills

Someone that builds rapport and credibility with clients and anticipates needs.

Clear concise written and verbal communication skills.
