Job Description:

International & leading independent approved testing agency that acts as a regulatory audit partner to operators & software providers in the online gambling industry with clients in the USA, South America, Europe, Australia & Asia has a vacancy for an IT Security Specialist.  Relevant IT degree, CEH, CISA, CISM/CISS and at 5 years Information Security experience is essential for this role.  Valid Passport & & police clearance/clear ITC report essential.

Main job function

Delivery, support and supervision of technical security testing assignments

Defining scope and performance of a variety of technical security testing assignments

Developing and quality assuring template reports for technical security testing and auditing

Consulting and engineering in the development and design of security best practices and implementation of solid security principles, to meet customer and regulatory requirements

Working with clients to assess the appropriateness of remediation plans

Supporting senior members in the Executive with sales plans

Working as senior subject matter experts in this field and delivering client excellence

Qualifications:

Degree from an accredited University or equivalent (Computer Science; Information Security or Information Technology)

EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent

Familiar with test suites such as Nessus, Nipper, Acunetix and similar

Application and/or infrastructure penetration testing experience above and beyond running automated tools

CISA; CISM or CISSP

Experience:

At least 5 years’ information security experience

Of which at least 2 years’ vulnerability and penetration testing with a PCI ASV

Of which at least 2 years’ experience overall across network security; application security; computer systems security; IT security auditing and risk assessment (any of the two)

Excellent ability to understand technical security requirements and scope work accordingly

Designing and implementing technical security solutions

Security architecture, demonstrating solutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies

The ability to formulate processes and testing methodologies to assess and test against technical security requirements

Superior competency in reporting and document writing

Computer literate (Proficiency in MS Office suite)

Ability to train colleagues in the area of expertise

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organisational and project management skills

Logical and structured manner of planning and approaching tasks

Ability to prioritise effectively under pressure

Ability to work independently and meet pre-specified deadlines

Extremely high attention to detail and accuracy
