Our client is seeking an Industrial Psychologist who will be reporting to the HR Director. The successful incumbent will provide a professional resource on employee and organizational assessment, performance management, talent management, career pathing, succession planning and the implementation of interventions to assist with staff and organizational development within the Distribution Centre

Main job function
Provide a comprehensive psychometric assessment service in line with external regulations and internal policies and processes
Recommend, design and/or implement development interventions based on assessment outcomes
Ensure effective record management and confidentiality of all assessment-related documentation
Develop and implement organizational development, performance management and change management interventions in collaboration with Group HR Executive and line management
Assist with the design and implementation of talent management initiatives in collaboration with the Talent and Training managers and HR Executive
Assist with the design and administration of organizational climate and culture surveys and implementation of appropriate interventions
Management of the employee wellness Programmes
Provide a generalist HR resource role to assist the HR team to meet business objectives
Assist in other HR projects where required (such as Corporate Social Investment, team development, work structuring and the compiling of job profiles)
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology
Registered as an Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA (essential)
Experience/Criteria
Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology
Registered as an Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA (essential)
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Certification and experience in administration of various psychometric assessment tools
Thorough working knowledge of HR theory, practice and procedure
Knowledge of HPCSA regulations and ethics
Computer literacy (MS Office)
High level of administrative and reporting skills
Self-driven, goal directed and conscientious
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
